Staatstheater Nuremberg has announced its 2026-27 season,

Premiere

Wagner’s “Tannhäuser” will be conducted by Roland Böer and directed by Barbora Horáková.

Premiere Date: Oct. 10, 2026


Michael Calderone directs “Piraten fluchen nicht” with Sungjun Kim and Andreas Paetzold conducting.

Premiere Date: Nov. 7, 2026


Anno Schreier’s “Cosa Nostra” will be directed by Jens-Daniel Herzog and conducted by Jan Croonenbroeck.

Premiere Date: Nov. 28, 2026


Christopher Schumann conducts Massenet’s “Werther.”

Premiere Date: Jan. 16, 2026


Mischa Spoliansky’s “Alles Schwindel” will be conducted by Max Renne and directed by Otto Pichler.

Jan Croonenbroeck conducts Mozart’s “Die Entführung aus dem Serail” with David Bösch directing.
