Staatsoper Stuttgart Reduces Seating Capacity, Tightens Entry Regulations

The Staatsoper Stuttgart has announced that new entry regulations will apply starting on Dec. 27, 2021.

Per an official press release, entry to the opera house will be granted only to the vaccinated and recovered persons with an additional negative COVID-19 test. People who have received a COVID-19 booster vaccination, whose full vaccination was not more than three months ago, or whose recovery was not more than three months ago will be exempted from the obligation to present a negative test.

Per the same release, the Staatsoper Stuttgart has announced that it has received an order from the authorities to limit its audience to 500 spectators.

All German theaters will only recognize vaccines approved by the European Medicine Agency including Pfizer BioNTech Comirnaty, Moderna mRNA-1273 Spikevax, Astrazeneca Vaxzevria, Novavax, and Jonson & Johnson Janssen Pharmaceutica NV.

The seven-day incidence in Stuttgart currently stands at 252.9.
