Staatsoper Hamburg to Require Proof of Vaccination
By Francisco SalazarThe Staatsoper Hamburg has announced new rules for attendees in an attempt to ensure a safe experience inside the venue.
The German company announced that all audience members attending a performance will be required to show proof of vaccination approved. For those who recently had the virus, the audience member will be required to show proof of recovery through a PCR test.
The company will also be contact tracing and will require all audience members to fill out personal data in case of an outbreak. The Staatsoper Hamburg also announced that face masks and social distancing will no longer be required. As a result, it will be able to perform for a complete audience.
The Staatsoper Hamburg recently opened its season with a new production of “Les Contes d’Hoffmann” and is currently presenting a revival of “Tosca.”
