St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church to Present New Sacred Works in Holiday Benefit Concert

By Logan Martell

On December 31, 2022, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church will present their holiday benefit concert “In The Spirit.”

The program features a number of new and familiar sacred works, such as Cesar Franck’s “Panis Angelicus,” Theodore Christman’s “Ave Maria,” and the premiere of Myron Silberstein’s “I had no time to hate.”

The concert will also see the premiere of five new works set to Biblical texts specifically for the event, by composers Garret Brown, Fiona Frank, Man-Ching Donald Yu, Justin Carter, and Akihiro Masuda. The works will be performed by pianist Gregory Ritchey and mezzo-soprano Madison Marie McIntosh.

Admission for the concert is free, with donations encouraged.
