Spooky Goose Announces 3rd Concert Series, Upcoming Opera Performance

Spooky Goose Opera has announced its third fully remote concert series, which are set to take place on May 1 and 2, 2020.

The company also announced that it will be performing a remote original opera “The Yellow Wallpaper” composed by Dr. Tyler Hughes with a libretto by Aaren Marchi and Joshua Jorgensen. The opera will be presented in episodes via YouTube before eventually getting a complete performance via Zoom.

This concert series follows previous performances that kicked off on March 27-29, followed by another set of performances on April 17 and 18.

“We have performers ranging from seasoned professionals who have performed at Teatro Alla Scala, The Metropolitan Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and other houses – to a broad range of performers in their collegiate years, including current Juilliard Students, students and faculty of Indiana University, and more,” said the company’s press release.”
