Soprano Raquel González Set for Appearance at 2026 Irving S. Gilmore International Piano Festival

The 2026 Irving S. Gilmore International Piano Festival has unveiled its 2026 slate. Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

Soprano Raquel González and pianist Charlotte Hu will headline “Chopin and Viardot: A Dialogue.” The program features solo piano works by Pauline Viardot and Chopin as well as piano and voice arrangements by Viardot of some of Chopin’s Mazurkas. There will also be original songs by Viardot. The performance will take place at the Dalton Center Recital Hall in Kalamazoo.

Performance Date: May 7, 2026

The festival runs from April 30 through May 10, 2026.
