Soprano Celia Castron Headlines North/South Chamber Orchestra’s ‘Lifchitz Up Close’

The North/South Chamber Orchestra is set to present a concert featuring the works of Max Lifchitz on Feb. 13, 2022.

The showcase, which will take place at the National Opera Center in New York City at 7 p.m. local time, will spotlight such works as “Mosaico Latinoamericano,” “Rosa Divina,” and “Beethoven Moods.”

Performers for the evening include soprano Celia Castro, flutist Lisa Hansen, violinist Arthur Moeller, cellist Amy Kang, and Lifchitz at the piano.

North/South Consonance’s performances are made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. The organization also received additional support from the BMI Foundation and the Music Performance Trust Funds in addition to other donations.
