Sophie Koch, Chen Reiss & Matthias Goerne Lead Sinfónica de Galicia’s 2020-21 Season

The Sinfónica de Galicia has announced its 2020-21 season.

For this article, we will only feature vocal concerts from the Spanish symphony orchestra.

Rumon Gamba leads Andrew Staples in a program that includes music by Britten, Rachmaninov, and Soutullo. 

Performance Date: Nov. 16-21, 2020

Carlo Rizzi leads Chen Reiss in Strauss’ Four Last Songs. The program also includes music by Dvorak.

Performance Dates: Jan. 18-22, 2021

Matthias Goerne and Josep Pons team up for an evening of Wagner.

Performance Dates: Jan. 25-29, 2021

Roberto González-Monjas conducts Sophie Koch in a performance featuring music by Chausson, Abril, Ravel and Rimsky-Korsakov.

Performance Dates: April 26-30, 2021

Dima Slobodeniouk conducts Mozart’s Requiem with soloists Christina Landshamer, Marie Henriette Reinhold, Matthew Swensen, and Hanno Müller-Brachmann. The concert will also feature the Orquesta Infantil de la Sinfónica de Galicia Coro OSG and music by Vaughan Williams and Widman.
