Sonya Yoncheva to Give Recital at Staatsoper Unter den Linden
By David SalazarSonya Yoncheva is set to give a recital at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin on Nov. 27, 2023.
The showcase will be divided up into two parts. Part one will center on romances and canzonas while part two will feature arias from four Puccini operas including “Le Villi,” “La Bohème,” “Tosca,” and “Madama Butterfly.”
Yoncheva will be accompanied by pianist Malcolm Martineau.
The performance kicks off at 7 p.m. local time.
Following the recital, Yoncheva is headed to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic for a Concert Chausson “Poème de l’Amour et de la Mer” before heading to Bulgaria, Versailles, Hamburg, and Gstaad for other concerts. She returns to the opera stage in January when she takes on “Medée” at La Scala.
