Sonya Yoncheva and Plácido Domingo’s Bulgaria concert will be livestreamed via SY11 Events.

The concert, which is set to be performed on August 31 will be held at the Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia and will feature the two artists in a celebration for the end of summer. The concert will see the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Nayden Todorov.

Yoncheva and Domingo have collaborated on numerous occasions including a historical production of “Luisa Miller” at the Metropolitan Opera and in last season’s Arena di Verona gala concert. They have also collaborated on a Rolex gala at the Teatro alla Scala, among other concerts.

Yoncheva recently sang at the Arena di Verona and the Salzburg Festival while Domingo recently production of “Rigoletto” and was honored with the Bellini d’Oro. This summer he returns to Spain for a gala with Ainhoa Arteta while Yoncheva makes her role debut as “Manon Lescaut” this fall at the Staatsoper Hamburg.
