Rolex is organizing a trilogy of concerts starring Sonya Yoncheva, Juan Diego Flórez, Rolando Villazón, and Renaud Capuçon.

The idea behind the concerts will be to stick to its long-standing “commitment to champion those who set the highest standard in the world of music.”

The concerts will begin on August 21 and run through September.

According to Rolex, approximately 100 musicians have been selected on the basis of their skill and the severity with which their livelihood has been affected by this pandemic. Each of these artists has been hand-picked by Florez, Yoncheva, Villazón and Capuçon.

The concerts will begin at the Teatro Rossini, Pesaro on August 21, with Juan Diego Flórez featuring an orchestra and will be followed at the Berlin Staatsoper on Tuesday, Sept. 1, with Sonya Yoncheva in a recital program.

The final program will be at the Opéra National de Paris (Palais Garnier) on Thursday, Sept. 3, with Rolando Villazón.
