Sonya Yoncheva has announced her new album “GEORGE”

The new album dedicated to George Sand will be released in September by Yoncheva’s company SY11.

In a statement, the soprano said, “My album about George Sand will be released in September! Do you know her? Do you know how inspiring this woman was? In my new CD I am talking about her love for life and her immense love for arts. Music by Chopin, [Pauline] Viardot, Liszt… texts by de Musset. I am in the imaginary salon of George! What if they could meet together and have some fun singing and playing? I would love just to be there and hear it!”

The album includes pianist Olga Zado, Marina Viotti, and Adam Taubitz.

This is the second album by the soprano’s company SY11 following her release of “The Courtesan.”
