Sonya Yoncheva, Anita Rachvelishvili, Michael Fabiano, Olga Peretyatko Headline Opéra de Paris’ Streaming Slate Through July

The Opéra National de Paris has announced its streaming slate for the next month.

Starting on Monday, May 25, the company will stream “Boris Godunov.” The opera stars Ildar Abdrazakov, Evdokia Malevskaya, Ruzan Mantashyan, Alexandra Durseneva, Maxim Paster, Boris Pinkhasovich, Ain Anger, Dmitry Golovnin, Evgeny Nikitin, and Peter Bronder. The Mussorgsky opera will stream until May 31, 2020.

Then starting on June 1, audiences will get a chance to see Verdi’s “Rigoletto,” which will stream until June 7. The production, directed by Claus Guth, stars Michael Fabiano, Quinn Kelsey, and Olga Peretyatko. Nicola Luisotti conducts.

The following week, the company will present its Claus Guth production of “La Bohème,” which sets the famed Puccini opera in space. The stream kicks off on June 8 and runs through June 14.

The following week, the company will stream a Concert from June 21, 2016 featuring Sondra Radvanovsky, Aleksandrs Antonenko, and Anita Rachvelishvili in music by Bizet, Verdi, and Puccini.

Then in July, the company will showcase its 350th Anniversary Gala, which features the likes of Sonya Yoncheva, Ludovic Tézier, and Bryan Hymel, among others. Audiences can check out the gala starting on July 6-12, 2020.
