Sondra Radvanovsky Postpones Tudor Queens at Gran Teatre del Liceu

Sondra Radvanovsky has posptoned her upcoming Tudor Queens concert at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.

The company announced that due to personal reasons, the soprano was forced to cancel her presentation on Dec. 23.

The Tudors concert was expected to showcase Radvanovsky in the final three scenes of “Anna Bolena,” “Maria Stuarda,” and “Roberto Devereux.” Riccardo Frizza was expected to conduct with Rafael Villalobos directing the semi-staged production. Radvanovsky and Frizza teamed up for the concert event in October 2019 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Radvanovsky is scheduled to return to the stage in February for “Aida” at the Paris Opera.

The Gran Teatre del Liceu announced that the concert would be rescheduled following the fall and winter season.
