Sondra Radvanovsky & Piotr Beczala Metropolitan Opera Concert Postponed

By Francisco Salazar

The Metropolitan Opera has postponed its upcoming live concert performance with Sondra Radvanovsky and Piotr Beczała.

The company noted that it was forced to postpone “due to pandemic-related limitations on its Munich-based production team’s movement between Germany and Spain.” As a result, the concert, which was originally scheduled to take place on Sept. 26 in Spain, will be rescheduled with a new date and location. Tickets already purchased for the event will be valid for the new date.

Radvanovsky and Beczala are set to open the Gran Teatre del Liceu’s 2020-21 season on Sept. 27. Beczala is also set to perform in Vienna and Poland this fall while Radvanovsky is scheduled to perform in San Francisco and Berlin.

The Metropolitan Opera Live Concert series continues on Sept. 12 with Joyce DiDonato live from Germany and Anna Netrebko live from Slovenia on Oct. 10.
