Sondra Radvanovsky, Morris Robinson, Rachel Willis-Sørensen & Thomas Hampson Lead National Symphony Orchestra’s 2024-25 Season

The National Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2024-25 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances on offer.

Eugene Rogers conducts Morris Robinson in a program that includes music by Jessie Montgomery, Aaron Copland, and Carlos Simon.

Performance Date: Sept. 14, 2024

Gianandrea Noseda and Rachel Willis-Sørensen join forces for music by Carlos Simon, Strauss, and Beethoven.

Performance Dates: Oct. 3-5, 2024

Masaaki Suzuki conducts Händel’s “Messiah” with Jone Martínez, Reginald Mobley, Lunga Eric Hallam, and Dashon Burton.

Performance Dates: Dec. 19-22, 2024

Sondra Radvanovsky stars in Barber’s “Vanessa” with J’Nai Bridges, Matthew Polenzani, Susan Graham, and Thomas Hampson. Gianandrea Noseda conducts the concert performances.

Performance Dates: Jan. 30-Feb. 1 2025

Marin Alsop conducts the Lorelei Ensemble in Julia Wolfe’s “Her Story.” The concert also includes Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Scheherazade.”

Performance Dates: Feb. 27 & March 1, 2025

Gianandrea Noseda conducts Beethoven’s “Missa Solemnis” with soloists Erika Grimaldi, Rihab Chaieb, Saimir Pirgu, and Marko Mimica.

Performance Dates: May 15-17, 2025
