Sondra Radvanovsky & Keri Alkema Release Save the Arts Video

By Francisco Salazar

The “Screaming Divas” have released a new video entitled “Save the Arts.”

The video showcases Sondra Radvanovsky performing alongside Rachael Kerr from Koerner Hall as images of empty theaters, newspaper headlines, and hopeful messages appear on the screen. Soprano Keri Alkema edited the video.

In a message from Radvanovsky and Alkema, the sopranos noted they posted the video “in the hope that it brings comfort at this time to many of our friends, fans, and fellow artists.”

Both shared the video on their social media pages with the tag lines, “We’re all in this together. Take care of each other. Wear a mask.”

Throughout the lockdown, Alkema and Radvanovsky joined forces for an online talk show “Screaming Divas” and have interviewed such artists as Piotr Beczala, Susan Graham, Lisette Oropesa, and Breanna Sinclaire.
