Sinfónica de Galicia Announces 2023-24 Season

The Sinfónica de Galicia has announced its 2023-24 season. Here are the vocal performances.

Carlos Mena and Javier Fajardo will lead a Schubert and Brahms program which will be conducted by Lucas Macías.

Performance Date: Oct. 13, 2023

Javier Franco performs Duran alongside conductor Víctor Pablo Pérez. The program also includes Schumann’s Symphony No. 3.

Performance Date: Nov. 23, 2023

Carlos Mena conducts Handel’s Messiah.

Performance Dates: Dec. 8 & 9, 2023

André Schuen perform Mahler under the direction of Roberto González-Monjas. The program also includes Tarrodi and Honegger.

Performance Date: Jan. 19, 2024

Claire Booth and Jonathon Heyward team up for a program of music by Strauss, Montgomery, and Shostakovich.

Performance Dates: April 12 & 13, 2024

Carlos Mena conducts Haydn’s “Stabat Mater.”

Performance Dates: May 10 & 11, 2024

Marina Heredia and José Trigueros perform a program of music by Enescu, Kodaly, and Quevedo.

Performance Dates: May 24 & 25, 2024

The vocal portion of the Sinfónica de Galicia season ends with Dima Slobdoeniouk conducting the Stravinsky and Sibelius.

Performance Date: June 14, 2024
