Holy City Arts and Lyric Opera (HALO) has announced its fifth anniversary season.

Sidney Outlaw and Warren Jones open the season as part of their US recital tour.

Performance Date: September 15, 2024 (St. Johannes Lutheran Church) 

Up next is a run of Menotti’s “The Medium.

Performance Date: October 24 & 26, 2024 (Battery Gadsden)

“Carols by Candlelight” will take place throughout the holiday season.

Performance Date: December 6, 2024 (St. Johannes Lutheran Church, additional dates & locations TBD)

HALO’s free community concert, “(our) Home for the Holidays,” is a multicultural musical celebration of winter traditions.

Performance Date: December 14, 2024 (Leah & Dimitri’s)

First up in the new year is Sondheim’s “Sweeney Todd.”

Performance Date: March 12-16, 2025 (Battery Gadsden)

“Singers & Stanzas, Volume II” features the world premiere songs with lyrics written by South Carolina poets.
The concert also features other songs by living composers.

Performance Date: May 4, 2025 (St. Johannes Lutheran Church)
