Shreveport Opera has announced its new season.

The company will open the season with “Music of the Night.” The event will celebrate the retirement of General and Artistic Director, Steve Aiken, and will also welcome new General and Artsitic Director Alan E. Hicks.

Performance Date: Sept. 18, 2025

There will be a Fall Opera Night at East Ridge Country Club.

Performance Date: Oct. 15, 2025

Then comes “La Bohème.”

Performance Date: Nov. 1, 2025

The Shreveport-Bossier Opera Guild will present “Les Boutiques de Noël” at Shreveport Convention Center.

Performance Date: Nov. 21-23, 2025

There will be a Spring Opera Night.

Performance Date: Feb. 26, 2026

“Don Giovanni” follows.

Performance Date: March 14, 2026

The season ends with “Art After Dark: The Seven Deadly Sins + Mahagonny Songspiel.”

Performance Date: May 1, 2026
