Opera Naples has announced three master instructors to this season’s Opera Naples Academy.

This season the Academy will see baritone Sherrill Milnes, Chilean soprano Verónica Villarroel, and tenor Bruce Ford as instructors for the prestigious academy.

The Opera Naples Academy gives young singers the opportunity to immerse themselves in a 10-day program of individual vocal instruction and coaching from master teachers along with lectures and classes presented by internationally recognized artists.

It culminates with a public performance on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, starting at 7:30 p.m. This year the program will also feature a master class with Milnes and Academy participants on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018.

The fall 2018 session includes participants from seven countries and several U.S. states. Both fall and spring sessions conclude with a public concert at the Wang Opera Center.
