InSightALT is set to showcase “Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Fallen Giant” on March 25, 2019 at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York City.

The opera, written by composer Evan Meier and librettist E.M. Lewis, was commissioned by the American Lyric Theater as part of its initiative to develop operas that full length and family friendly. The performance will be a one-night-only concert that culminates what will be a week-long workshop of the work.

The performance will be led by Maestro Andrew Bisantz and will star sopranos Cree Carrico and Felicia Moore. Other performers include mezzo Heather Johnson, tenor Daniel T. Curran, baritones David Kravitz and Connor McDonald, bass Hans Tashjian, and treble Devin Coleman.

After the performance, audiences will get a chance to speak with Meier and Lewis about the work. The discussion will also feature ALT’s Founder and Producing Artistic Director Lawrence Edelson.
