Shelén Hughes Camacho, Elisse Albian, Rachel Duval Lead American Classical Orchestra’s 2026-27 Season

The American Classical Orchestra has announced its 2026-27 season. Here are the vocal performances on offer.

The ACO and ACO Chorus open the season with Haydn’s “Lord Nelson” Mass alongside Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1. Bolivian soprano Shelén Hughes Camacho, a 2025 George and Nora London Foundation Competition winner, makes her ACO debut. Thomas Crawford conducts.

Performance Date: Sept. 17, 2026


The ACO and ACO Chorus present an all-Bach evening of motets and cantatas at the Basilica of Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral, including “Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied” (BWV 225), “O Jesu Christ, meins Lebens Licht” (BWV 118), “Cantata 36,” and “Cantata 106 Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit.” Thomas Crawford conducts.

Performance Date: Feb. 3, 2027


Sopranos Elisse Albian and Rachel Duval headline a salon concert of 18th-century English and American repertoire drawn from Thomas Jefferson’s music library at Monticello. Works by William Billings, Thomas Davy, Handel, John Hawkins, and André Grétry are featured. Thomas Crawford conducts.
