Seton Hall University to Present Andrea DelGuidice’s ‘Don Giovanni’
By David SalazarNew Jersey-based Seton Hall University is set to present a unique new production of “Don Giovanni” on Nov. 8, 2021.
The production, which will be directed by Andrea DelGuidice, renowned for reimagining works from a female focused perspective that she has often called “HERstory.”
The opera will be led by Suchan Kim in the title role. Christina Major will star as Donna Anna with Eric Lindsay as Leporello, Indira Mahajan as Donna Elvira, Ziwen Xiang as Don Ottavio, Kendra Kae as Zerlina, Will Kellerman as Masetto, and Steven Fredericks as the Commendatore.
The production will also feature Jake Landau at the harpsichord and the MidAtlantic Opera Orchestra. Jacob Maximillian Baron will provide videography and the opera will be conducted by Jason C. Tramm.
Admission to the performance is free and open to all.
