Serena Malfi, Jorge De Léon & Iréne Theorin Highlight Teatro dell’Opera di Roma’s Streaming Week

The “Teatro Digitale” dell’Opera di Roma has announced programming for the first week of June.

The week starts with Rossini’s “La Cenerentola” in a 2016 production by Emma Dante. The production is conducted by Alejo Pérez and stars Juan Francisco Gatell, Serena Malfi, Vito Priante, Alessandro Corbelli, and Ugo Guagliardo.

Streaming Dates: June 2-5, 2020

It will be followed by a stream of Puccini’s “Turandot” from the summer of 2015 at the Terme di Caracalla. Juraj Valčuha conducts a production that stars Jorge De Léon,  María Katzarava, Marco Spotti, and Iréne Theorin in her signature interpretation of the title role.

Streaming Dates: June 3-6, 2020

Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” will be the third stream. The production by Graham Vick is conducted by Stefano Montanari and stars Andrey Zhilikhovsky, Federica Lombardi, Elena Sancho Pereg, Vito Priante, and  Miriam Albano.

Streaming Dates: June 4-7, 2020
