Sasha Cooke to Relaunch Houston Grand Opera’s ‘Live from the Cullen’ Series

Houston Grand Opera will continue its “Live from the Cullen” series on Jan. 8, 2020 with a performance featuring mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke.

The showcase will see the Grammy Award-winning artist perform alongside pianist Kirill Kuzmin, who is the principal coach at the Houston Grand Opera.

This is the latest digital offering from the Houston Grand Opera. The company is set to present a Holiday Celebration and is currently streaming a making of video regarding its opera “The Snowy Day.” Additionally, the company is showcasing the double bill “Bon Appétit” and “The Impresario.” In 2021, Houston Grand Opera will present a Concert of Arias, “Giving Voice,” “Songs for Murdered Sisters,” “Suite Española,” “Hansel and Gretel,” and “Marian’s Song.”
