
Sarasota Opera Announces Major Grant for Education Programs
By David SalazarSarasota Opera has received a $30,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.
The grant aims to support the company’s Education Programs as well as to help fund a special benefit event.
“This generous support from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County helps Sarasota Opera continue its mission to inspire and educate through the power of opera,” said Richard Russell, General Director of Sarasota Opera, per an official press release. “By investing in arts education and community engagement, the Foundation is helping to ensure that future generations have meaningful access to the performing arts.”
Sarasota Opera’s 2025-26 season opens this October with “Così fan tutte.”
