Sarasota Opera has unveiled its 2026-27 Signature Events season, a series of fundraising events supporting the company’s productions, artist training programs, community outreach, and Sarasota Youth Opera.

The season opens with the Sarasota Opera Food & Wine Festival at the Sarasota Opera House.

Performance Date: Sept. 26, 2026

“The Curtain Raiser” follows at Michael’s On East, marking the opening of the company’s fall and winter seasons with live performances and dining.

Performance Date: Oct. 25, 2026

The first Moonlight & Melodies event, themed “Into the Enchanted Forest” and inspired by “Hansel and Gretel,” takes place in the Sarasota Opera House Courtyard.

Performance Date: Nov. 13, 2026

The Sarasota Opera Annual Gala, “A Night of Camellias & Champagne,” follows at The Ora Grand Ballroom.

Performance Date: Jan. 30, 2027

The second Moonlight & Melodies event, “A Night Aboard Her Majesty’s Ship,” inspired by Gilbert and Sullivan, takes place in the Sarasota Opera House Courtyard.

Performance Date: Feb. 17, 2027

The season concludes with the “Salute to the Stars” Award Luncheon at the Sarasota Yacht Club, celebrating the artistry of the company’s Apprentice and Studio Artists with live performances.
