San Francisco Performances Postpones Lawrence Brownlee Recital

By Francisco Salazar

The San Francisco Performances has announced changes to its 2020-21 season.

The company revealed that Lawrence Brownlee and his Crooner’s program, originally scheduled for Oct. 2, has been postponed to 2021 due to restrictions on vocal performances. The recital was originally set to take place at the Herbst Theatre.

Ticket holders will have the option of attending the new date; applying the value of the tickets towards a subscription or another single performance in the 2020-21 season; donating the (tax-deductible) tickets to San Francisco Performances; applying the value of the tickets toward a gift certificate; or requesting a refund.

Other performances that have been affected include recitals starring Kazuhito Yamashuta and Thibault Cauvin.

The 2020-21 season is expected to showcase recitals by Golda Schultz, Anthony Roth Costanzo, and Angelika Kirchschlager.
