San Francisco Opera Guild Prepares for ‘An Evening on the Stage’ 2019

The San Francisco Opera Guild is set to present “An Evening on the Stage” on Dec. 4, 2019.
The event, which is set to honor philanthropists Carol and Dixon Doll, will allow 300 guests an opportunity to dine on the War Memorial Opera House’s stage surrounded by sets from “Hansel and Gretel.”
Proceeds from the gala event will be given to a number of education and community engagement programs that reach out to over 64,000 students and families across Norther California.
There will be a performance by The Dick Bright Orchestra as well as some surprise guests.
Carol Dixon is an active president and philanthropist of the Carol and Dixon Doll Family Foundation which has been involved with the San Francisco Opera for over 30 years. She has also been on the San Francisco Opera Guild’s board since 1994 as well as on the San Francisco Opera Association board of directors since 1997.
Dixon Doll is the founder of DCM Ventures and a member of the San Francisco Opera Association board of directors and its Investment Committee.
