San Francisco Early Music Society Announces 2023-24 Season

The San Francisco Early Music Society has announced its 2023-24 season.

Here is a look at the vocal performances.

First up is “El Mundo” presenting “Archivo de Guatemala.” The event features sopranos Jennifer Ellis Kampani and Nell Snaidas, as well as tenor/countertenor Ryland Angel.

Performance Date: Oct. 27 – 29, 2023

Vox Lumunis will then present “Bach: The Early Cantatas.”

Performance Date: Nov. 2, 2023

Soprano Sherezade Panthaki will join Musica Pacifica in “Invitation to a Salon.”

Performance Date: Jan. 12 – 14, 2024

La Morra will present “Shaping the Invisible: Italian Music from the Time of Leonardo: Italian Music from the Time of Leonardo.” The event features Ivo Haun de Oliveira on voice.

Performance Date: March 1, 2024

“No other presenter in the Bay Area offers such depth and diversity in early music offerings,” said executive director Derek Tam in the official press announcement. “There is truly something for everyone this upcoming season, and that is very exciting for us.”
