The production by Yaron Lifschitz will be presented in collaboration with Opera Australia and Edinburgh International Festival and will star Australian soprano Samantha Clarke, who performs both Amore and Eurydice and British countertenor Iestyn Davies as Orfeo.

They will perform alongside Circa, a group known for its unique productions and excellence in storytelling by some of the best circus-performing talent in the country. Notably, this production features four graduates of Melbourne’s National Institute of Circus Arts, including Lachlan Suckroo, Rosa Mordaunt, Zachary Stephens, and Billie Wilson Coffey.

“Orpheus & Eurydice” will be conducted by Australian Dane Lam, leading Orchestra Victoria and the world-renowned Opera Australia Chorus in this powerful production.
