Saioa Hernández has announced her first solo album.

The soprano took to social media and said, “I’m immensely happy to share with you an small reel about the recording of my first solo album. This is something that many of you have been asking me for years and I can finally tell you that the time has come!”

She added, “The recording was done last summer between my debut as Turandot and my debut at the Sidney Opera House. It was a busy but very productive summer!! I’m very fortunate to count with the best recording team ever and an amazing artists to make this possible. Thank you so much! LOVE YOU ALL. I’ll share more info with you soon, but for now I just want to share this brief taste of what this album will be.”

The soprano shared a video but no details about the repertoire for the new album.

Hernández is set to return to the Bayerische Staatsoper for “Macbeth” this December.
