Sabine Devieilhe, Aida Garifullina & Markus Werba To Present Concerts At Teatro alla Scala

The Teatro alla Scala has announced three upcoming concerts featuring some of opera’s greatest stars.
First up, soprano Sabine Devieilhe will present a recital on Dec. 14, 2020. The showcase, which will also feature pianist Alexandre Tharaud, will include works by Ravel, Poulenc, Fauré, and Debussy.
The recital will be broadcast on the Teatro alla Scala’s official website, as well as its YouTube and Facebook channels starting at 8:00 p.m. CET.
Soprano Aida Garifullina will give a concert on Dec. 24, 2020. Michele Mariotti will conduct the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala. The showcase will be broadcast on RAI5 at 6:00 p.m. CET.
Finally, Baritone Markus Werba will perform a recital on Jan. 4, 2021. This time, the program will be entirely dedicated to Robert Schumann. James Baillieu will be at the piano. Among the pieces performed are the Dichterliebe cycles op. 48 and Liederkreis op. 39.
This recital will also be broadcast on the Teatro alla Scala official website, as well as its YouTube and Facebook channels starting at 8:00 p.m. CET.
