The Teatro Villamarta de Jerez is set to present a production of Massenet’s seminal “Manon” on Jan. 28 and 30, 2022.

Centro Lírico del Sur will produce the showcase conducted by Carlos Aragón and directed by Alfonso Romero.

Sabina Puértolas is slated to sing the title role, with Ismael Jordi as Chevalier Des Grieux.

Other cast members include Damián del Castillo as Lescaut, Javier Castañeda as Comte des Grieux, Manuel de Diego as Guillot de Monfortaine, César San Martín as Monsieur de Brétigny, Natalia Labourdette as Pousette, Zayra Ruiz as Javotte, Marina Pardo as Rosette, as well as Gregorio García, Mario Salas, and Jesús Tomás Moreno in other roles.

They will be accompanied by the Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga and the Coro del Teatro Villamarta.
