Ruth Iniesta, Arsen Soghomonyan & Daniela Barcellona Lead Teatro Verdi Trieste’s 2022-23 Season

The Teatro Verdi Trieste has announced its 2022-23 season featuring six operatic productions.

Daniel Oren and Ivan Ciampa conduct Verdi’s “Otello” in a production by Giulio Ciabatti. Arsen Soghomonyan stars alongside Lianna Haroutounian, Roman Burdenko, and Mario Bahg.

Performance Dates: Nov. 4-15, 2022

Christopher Franklin conducts Puccini’s “La Bohème” with Carlo Antonio De Lucia directing. Lavinia Bini, Alessandro Scotto di Luzio, Leon Kim, Clemente Antonio Daliotti, Fabrizio Beggi, and Federica Vitali star.

Performance Dates: Dec. 9-18, 2022

Giovanni Meoni, Silvia dalla Benetta star in Verdi’s “Macbeth” with Antonio Poli and Dario Russo. Fabrizio Maria Carminati conducts the production by Henning Brockhaus.

Performance Dates: Jan. 27-Feb. 5, 2023

Enrico Calesso conducts Arnaud Bernard’s production of Bellini’s “I Capuleti e i Montecchi.” Anna Goryachova, Caterina Sala, Marco Ciaponi, Viktor Shevchenko, and Emanuele Cordaro star.

Performance Dates: Feb. 24-March 5, 2023

Enrico Pagano conducts Gluck’s “Orfeo ed Euridice” with Daniela Barcellona, Ruth Iniesta, and Olga Dyadiv. Igor Pison directs.

Performance Dates: April 14-23, 2023

Jordi Bernacer conducts Puccini’s “Turandot” in a production by Davide Garattini Raimondi. Kristina Kolar takes on the title role with Amadi Lagha, Ilona Revolskaya, and Gabriele Sagona.

Performance Dates: May 12-21, 2023
