Royal Opera House Announces Cast Changes for ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’ & ‘Tosca’

The Royal Opera House has announced cast changes for its productions of “Le Nozze di Fígaro” and “Tosca.”
The company said that Maria Bengtsson will replace Jacquelyn Stucker in the role of the Countess Almaviva.
Bengtsson will join a cast that includes Luca Micheletti, Ying Fang, Huw Montague Rendall, Ginger Costa-Jackson. Julia Jones conducts the David McVicar production which opens on Sept. 2 through Sept. 15, 2024.
Meanwhile, Natalya Romaniw and Chiara Isotton will replace Sonya Yoncheva in the title role of Tosca.
Romaniw will perform on Nov. 26, 29, Dec. 6 and 8 while Isotton will sing the performances on Dec. 11 and 13, 2024. They join a cast that includes SeokJong Baek and Bryn Terfel and Eun Sun Kim will conduct.
