The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden has announced a recital with Anna Netrebko.

The company announced that Netrebko will perform alongside Antonio Pappano in a recital.

The soprano recently starred in the Royal Opera’s “La Forza del Destino” and “Macbeth” and is set to sing “Tosca” in London this summer alongside Brian Jagde and Bryn Terfel. This will mark her first Royal Opera recital, after having recently given much-praised recitals at Carnegie Hall and in Baden-Baden and Munich.

OperaWire wrote about her Carnegie Hall recital debut stating, “Anna Netrebko’s ‘Night & Day’ Is a Showcase Of Vibrant Musical Maturity.”

This season Netrebko is set to make her role debut as Turandot” at the Bayerische Staatsoper and her role debut as Elisabetta in “Don Carlo” at the Semperoper Dresden. She will also open a new production of “Aida” next season at the Metropolitan Opera.

The Recital is set to be held on June 21, 2020.
