
Royal Opera Announces 2025-26 Jette Parker Roster
By David SalazarThe Royal Opera has announced its 2025-26 roster of Jette Parker Artists.
The company includes soprano Hannah Edmunds; tenors Emmanuel Fonoti-Fuimaono, Giorgi Guliashvili and Emyr Lloyd Jones; baritone Sam Hird; and mezzo-soprano Ellen Pearson. Also on the roster are director Talia Stern and ballet conductor Giovanni Fanizza.

Our long history of developing artists continues with the 25-26 cohort – our alumni go on to enjoy flourishing international careers, even returning to lead productions on our Main Stage – and it’s exciting to see them grow over the two years,” said Oliver Mears, Director of The Royal Opera, per an official press release.
Edmunds is a Norwegian soprano who joins the 2025-26 Jette Parker Artists Programme with upcoming Royal Opera roles, including First Lady (“The Magic Flute”), Xenia (“Boris Godunov”), and Margery and Maid in JPAP chamber productions.
Fonoti-Fuimanoa is a New Zealand-born Samoan tenor who will take on Royal Opera roles such as Danieli (“Les Vêpres siciliennes”), Pang (“Turandot”), and Borsa (“Rigoletto”).
Guliashvili hails from Georgia and will appear at the Royal Opera as Mainfroid (“Les Vêpres siciliennes”), Gastone (“La traviata”), and Leslie in “Making Arrangements.”
Hird is from the U.K., and he will take on such Royal Opera roles as Baron Douphol (“La traviata”), Mityukha (“Boris Godunov”), and parts in three JPAP chamber productions.
Jones, a Welsh tenor, will apear in roles such as Odoardo (“Ariodante”) and Borsa (“Rigoletto”) at the Royal Opera.
Pearson, also British, will take on such roles as Second Lady (“The Magic Flute”) and Flora Bervoix (“La traviata”).
