ItaliaFestival.tv is livestreaming Rossini’s “La Cambiale di Matrimonio” on August 8 from the Rossini Opera Festival.

The performance, scheduled for 8:30 pm Italian time, will showcase the rarely performed one-act Rossini opera starring Carlo Lepore, Dilyara Idrisova, Davide Giusti, Iurii Samoilov, Alexandr Utkin, and Martiniana Antonie. Dmitry Korchak will make his conducting debut in a production by Laurence Dale.

The performance will also showcase the composer’s canatata “Giovanna d’Arco” with Marianna Pizzolato.

“La Cambiale di Matrimonio” will be available for free for streaming and on-demand for 48 hours, upon registration, on www.italiafestival.tv.

The online platform has already streamed a number of Italian festivals this summer including the Festival Valle d’Itria and the Puccini Opera Festival.

The Rossini Opera Festival opens on August 8 and runs through August 21.
