Rossini Opera Festival Announces 2026 Season

The Rossini Opera Festival has announced the 2026 edition, which will celebrate its 47th edition.

The festival will take place between August 11 and 23, 2026.

The festival will open with a new production of “Le Siège de Corinthe” conducted by Carlo Rizzi and directed by Davide Livermore.

The company will then perform “L’occasione fa il ladro” conducted by Alessandro Bonato.

“La scala di seta” will be revived in a 2009 production by Damiano Michieletto. Iván López Reynoso. conducts.

“Il viaggio a Reims” returns with singers from the Accademia Rossiniana.

There will also be four Belcanto conducts and two concerts.

The season will close with the Stabat Mater conducted by Domingo Hindoyan.
