The Los Angeles Opera has announced its schedule for the LAO at Home series for the week of May 18, 2020.

The week begins on May 18 with a Living Room Recital from Rod Gilfry. Gilfry has performed with the company more than any other baritone, with a total of 32 roles to date and is set to return next season in “The Brightness of Light” with Renée Fleming. The recital begins at 4pm PDT.

The week continues on Tuesday, May 19, at 5pm PDT with Learn at Home (Grown-Up Edition). Hosted by Jeremy Frank, this week’s Opera Happy Hour will focus on (operatic) murder mysteries.

The week concludes on Friday, May 22, at 5pm PDT with Backstage at LAO. Maestro James Conlon premieres his new series Coffee with Conlon. The Music Director will take questions submitted via Facebook.
