Roberto Alagna, Aleksandra Kurzak, Elsa Dreisig, Emöke Baráth Headlines Les Grand Voix / Les Grands Solistes’ February & March 2022 Programming

Les Grand Voix / Les Grands Solistes has announced its March and February programming. 

First up will be a concert at the Philharmonie de Paris / Grande Salle Pierre Boulez starring Aleksandra Kurzak and Roberto Alagna. They will perform alongside the Belgian National Orchestra under the musical direction of David Giménez Carreras. The program will feature a host of opera favorites such arias and duets as “Viene la Sera” from “Madama Butterfly;” “Cielo e mar” from “La Gioconda;” “Vissi d’arte” from “Tosca;” “La fata; pietra” from “Aida;” “Ebben! Ne andro lontana” from “La Wally;” and “Tu qui Santuzza” from “Cavalleria Rusticana,” among others. 

Performance Date: Feb. 14, 2022

Then audiences at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées will get a chance to see Elsa Dreisig alongside the Orchestra de Chambre de Bâle under the musical direction of Baptiste Lope. The program will feature music by Mozart and arias from such operas as “Le Nozze di Figaro,” “Così fan tutte,” “Lucio Sila,” and “La Clemenza di Tito,” among others. 

Performance Date: Feb. 17, 2022

Rounding out the programming will be a concert at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées starring Emöke Baráth and Ensemble Artaserse under Philippe Jarousskey. “Händel Forever” will feature a wide range of arias from some of the composer’s most notable opera.
