Roberta Mameli Headlines Festival Weeks at Drottningholm

Festival Weeks at Drottningholm has announced its line up for 2024.
Allyson McHardy takes on the title role in the Drottningholm premiere of Jean-Baptiste Lully’s“Armide.” She is joined by Nicholas Scott, Nicolas Brooymans, Marie Lys, Renato Dolcini, Zachary Wilder, Deborah Cachet, and Arash Azarbad, along with the choir and orchestra of Drottningholm Theater. Francesco Corti conducts and Florent Siaud directs.

Soprano Roberta Mameli and lutenist Luca Pianca present a duo recital with Italian music from their Diapason d’Or awarded CD “Anime Amanti.”
Performance Date: August 16, 2024
The Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm hosts “Open Lectures.” The public lectures will cover topics related to Italian and French music, which will coincide with both “Armide” and Mameli and Pianca’s concert. Lecturers include Dr. Andrés Locatelli and Francesco Corti.
