Rihab Chaieb, Latonia Moore Headline George London Foundation’s 2019-20 Season

The George London Foundation has announced its 2019-20 season, which will feature recitals from some of the most prominent artists around.

Soprano Latonia Moore and bass Ryan Speedo Green kick off the series with a joint performance alongside pianist Ken Noda. Moore won the George London Award in 2002 while Green took it home in 2014.

Performance Date: Oct. 20, 2019

Mezzo-soprano Rihab Chaieb follows in another recital alongside bass-baritone Lawson Anderson. Chaib and Andersen both won the George London Award in 2018. Ken Noda will also be at the piano for this performance.

Performance Date: April 19, 2020

The competition will take place between Feb. 17-19 with audiences invited to the competition finals and awards announcement.

Performance Date: Feb. 21, 2020

Additionally, there will be a gala aimed at celebrating George London’s 100th birthday featuring former colleagues and past winners of the competition. The event will take place at the Metropolitan Club.
