The Orchestre de Montréal has announced that over the next few weeks it will be showcasing eight online concerts and the launch of its 2020-21 season.

Starting on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 one of the major artists that will appear with the company during the upcoming season will give a 45-minute concert with some of their favorite repertoire. Among the major opera stars to appear in this series of concerts are baritone Andrew Love, mezzo-soprano Rihab Chaieb, soprano Isabel Bayrakdarian, and tenor Adam Luther.

“We are proud to give our audience the opportunity to get to know next season’s soloists in such a personal and interactive way. It’s also a chance for all of us to escape isolation for 45 minutes every week, without leaving the comfort and safety of our homes. Music has always had the power to alleviate stress and anxiety”, stated Taras Kulish, OCM’s Executive Director in a press release.
