Richmond Symphony Names New VP of Marketing & Sales

The Richmond Symphony has announced that Christopher Anderson will join the company as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, effective June 17, 2024.

I am honored to join the Richmond Symphony and a team dedicated to expanding audiences through the power of music,” said Anderson in an official press release issued by the company. “Throughout my career in the music industry and performing arts, I’ve been passionate about connecting audiences with the magical experience of music and performing arts. I’m excited to bring my expertise to this role, collaborate with talented individuals, and drive our marketing and sales strategies forward. My goal is to innovate, expand audience connections, and ensure our performances inspire and delight while enhancing Richmond Symphony’s storytelling and marketing campaigns to showcase its extraordinary artists.

Anderson has 15 years of marketing experience with such organizations as Sony Music Entertainmnet and Jazz at Lincoln Center. He was also Chief Marketing Officer for The Washington Ballet.
