The Richard Tucker Foundation has announced the lineup for the 2019 gala celebrating winner Lisette Oropesa.

This year the lineup will include past Tucker winners Jamie Barton, Michael Fabiano, Ailyn Pérez, and Christian Van Horn. The gala will also include Bryan Hymel, Angel Blue, Lucas Meachem, Artur Rucinski, and a rare U.S. appearance for Ermonela Jaho. James Gaffigan will conduct members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and the New York Choral Society at Carnegie Hall.

This year the gala will celebrate Lisette Oropesa, who was the 2019 Richard Tucker Award and who is also the second singer in history to have won both the Tucker award and the Beverly Sills Award in the same year.

The 2019 Richard Tucker gala is set to be held on Oct. 27. More details to follow.
