Reno Philharmonic to Present Choral Concert to Close Out 2024-25 Season

The Reno Philharmonic is set to present a choral concert to close out its upcoming 2024-25 season.

The performance, scheduled for April 12 and 13, 2025 Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts, will feature three works by such composers as Iryna Aleksiychuk, Hindemith, and Haydn.

First on the program will Aleksiychuk’s “Go where the wind takes you,” which will be getting its West Coast premiere. The work was commissioned by teh Taki-Alsop Conducting Fellowship.

Next up is Hindemith’s “Mathis der Maler,” followed by Haydn’s “Lord Nelson Mass.”

Other offerings on the season feature programs centered around works by Berlioz, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and Bruckner.
