Renée Fleming To Perform Free Virtual Concert With New Jersey Symphony Orchestra

Soprano Renée Fleming will give a special virtual concert with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra.

Fleming will sing Wagner’s “Wesendonck Lieder,” Michelle Moncayo’s “Elizabeth, New Jersey,” and Jane Wong’s “The Deciphered World.” Bizet’s Adagietto from “L’Arlésienne” Suite No. 1, and Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll” will be performed in the rest of the program. Xian Zhang conducts.

Fleming is broadly regarded as one of the greatest living sopranos. She has performed on the world’s greatest stages, including the Metropolitan Opera House, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Teatro alla Scala, Wiener Staatsoper, Opéra national de Paris, Bayerische Staatsoper, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Opernhaus Zürich, LA Opera, and San Francisco Opera, among many others.

The free virtual concert premieres on Nov. 17, 2021 at 7:30 pm ET and will be available on demand.
